Get the price quote in front of someone. I was quoted a price and end up paying $180 for 21 minutes, and I programmed my own tv. I should have read the reviews. I see why they got me in so soon.

Beware of Byron the owner of Randy's TV - AKA the Used Car Salesman. He installed an antenna system for me a few years ago for about $600 +. It worked great, but a few years later a couple of channels started having problems. He came out and said it would be better to just sell me a new antenna system that is improved VS to make the repairs. (probably the only thing wrong was that the antenna had turned as you will read later). So I fell for his scam and bought another system for about $720. It worked great also for a couple years, but then again, it started having problems with a couple channels. I had Byron come out to the house to check it. All he did was do a channel scan and charged me the service call and said that sometimes those channels have problems. A couple months later I figure out the problem myself - THE ANTENNA HAD TURNED. I hired Randy's TV to come out and rotate the antenna and SECURE IT. Byron and his tech person came out and rotated it, but they TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD NOT SECURE IT. The TV channels were all good again. Byron told me the only thing he could do was sell me another new system at about $800 !!!!!! I said NO and paid him the service call. A month later the antenna turned again. I called a different local TV antenna man and he came out. He turned my antenna and SECURED IT WITH A $5.00 STANDARD ANTENNA CLAMP !!! He charged me less than Randy's service call. The TV channels worked great again and the antenna never turned again. I took the old clamp to Byron at Randy's TV and asked why they did not secure the antenna. I expected my service call money refunded. He said he would have to get with his service tech and ask him, but his service tech was in the office right at that moment. I talked to him too. Byron took my number and said he would get back with me. He never called me back. The other TV antenna man told me that he gets a lot of jobs fixing Randy's antenna installs. This is a shady business so I recommend you purchase from someone else.

We haven’t gotten our tv back yet (I’ll update when I do), but Randy and his secretary have been so helpful in getting our tv fixed. With parts being hard to find I feel they have done everything they can to get my tv fixed in a timely manner. So far 10/10.

I described what and where I needed the OTA Antenna service to go. They were really not interested unless everything (wiring/splitter) was already in place. Which most of it was but I still do not have any service in one area of my home. So a Amazon purchased window sticker antenna has been put in that room (by me). They weren't willing to investigate if I had what was necessary to do what I wanted. I asked for a detailed receipt (including make and model and warranty info of antenna) -received a generic receipt after calling (no details). Made a call to the business, the person answering the phone stated they didn't have that info, ONLY the owner has that info. (sat what??) . It was a $!000 sh*t storm. Too bad Marion doesn't have other choices besides this less than acceptable service. They are only after the BIG bucks..Forget it if you want responsive service technicians, as you won't find it at Randy's TV & Electronic Service. It was not worth the $1000.00 they charged me!

We purchased a $900 antenna supposed to have a year warranty. We called several times because tv kept getting no signal so he said high school was interfering wanted to sell us an $1800 tower, no thanks. We discovered connectors outside were barely connected, when we picked it up it came unconnected. Very poor service, expensive and will not honor warranty. Would give negative stars if I could. They also cut into our security camera wires we discovered, fixed ourselves and did not confront him about that. When they disconnected the dish they just let it slide off the roof breaking one of our landscape lights. Extremely poor service!!!!!

I am responding to Randys response below because it is lies. His work is to be guaranteed, we called about the service during business hours so if he chose to come on his own time that is on him. He wanted an additional $1800 for a tower, this is a scam. As for us not knowing how to program our tv, simply not true. And I have been using tv's since the days of going out and turning the antenna and have changed with the times so I'm good there. Don't appreciate him trying to make us sound like an idiot. His antenna was cheap and flimsy. It was blowing in the wind. We have since went to a stronger bracket on our own, cost us very little and have since had no problems. He attempted to tell us Mississinewa High School was causing interference. Don't think so, no school was in and no one was there. So he uses cheap equipment, does not honor his guarantees, and apparently will lie on you.

They did a good job on install but if you think they cost friendly they are not told them from the get go that needed antenna on three tvs and was keeping cable. When they installed it they did not hide the coaxial cable,told me the install only included 1 tv but they did do 2 and it was extra to have a converter box at 100.00 each they are 39.98 at Walmart and they will match there online price 27.99 then I realized my tuner receiver would do the same job and he would not take the box back so they know they overcharge he told me his supplier charges him that high I told him they are raping you and you your customers just make hm give you a detailed cost up front and hold them to it.

Had them come out to see why antenna wasn't working. They said the antenna line was cut. It wasn't!!! They looked at a cable outside of the house that used to go to a satellite, which the line was cut to the satellite. They then wanted to charge $700 to run a new cable from the antenna to the TV. When the cable from the antenna wasn't cut. Paid for a service call to try and get the antenna to work They did nothing except take a hundred dollars.

Had a very bad experience here. I paid a deposit but I wasn't aware it wasn't refundable. The owner called me and was very confusing when he was telling me how much it was going to cost. I decided it was too expensive because he said $325 so I went back to pick up my tv and the owner was so rude to me and treated me like I was dumb and I'm not sure if he was racist. I was dissappointed that I wasn't getting my deposit back but it was fine, but he asked me to sign the receipt and it said $325 on it and I said I was confused and he started yelling at me "WHY ARE YOU CONFUSED?" and i didn't want to sign and get ripped into paying that much so i asked. Very rude and expensive. I wouldn't recommend. The lady working the desk was helpful though.

I called them about a tv repair and dude refused to do it because he said fixing a 1000 dollar tv wasn't cost effective when the digitizer that needed replaced was only 100 bucks. And it was a super easy repair I just didn't have time to do it. Don't recommend.

All is of concern seems to be 50 to "check it out" I would never recommend Randy's TV to my worst enemy!!!

Very professional and very pleased with Randy’s work and his helper was very good also. When Randy says he will be there he will be there that means a lot . U get what u pay for these guys were top notch

Had my tv for a week , I finally decided to give them a call and was told they could not get parts . So , I feel like if I hadn't called them it would have been several more days before I would have heard from them , I feel like a second class citizen

Mr. Ross, your tower was in such bad shape that we offered to move the antenna system for you . No one could climb that tower because it was so rusted and unsafe to climb. It also had several wires that were interfering . We did offer you to move the antenna for you so that it would be secure. I spoke to the person that secured your antenna and he charged you $5 more than I did.

Put up a new antenna up in october, supposedly hooked the cable in for 3 rooms. 2 rooms kinda work. Called them to try and find a resolution,they told my wife they didn't do any work for us and hung up.

We had our tv worked on and they was fast and friendly !! Also got an antenna system put up they was very fast and reasonable about it !! Would definitely recommend !!!

Soo... My dad passed away July 4th 2013 and his most cherished position was his 52" Sony bravia TV. Needless to say the screen cracked and everywhere I called told me to throw the TV away and buy new even after sharing with them the sentimental value the TV had to me. So when no one else would do the job Randys TV step up to plate and hit a home run. The TV works great and looks better than ever. I will warn anyone that has a TV with a cracked screen the price to replace it is pretty pricey and not every TV screen is replaceable because of the availability of the screen may be zero. Overall I am very pleased with my end result and would recommend Randy's TV to anyone.

they replaced a tv tower on my mother n laws property that would have stood another 40 years $1010, pluss she didnt even need the tower anymore because she has dish network that gives her the same channels also she could have gone to walmart and bought a vhs antenna for few bucks,they also fixed a tv in her house for $380 witch she could have bought a new one for same price in walmart , not saying they did wrong but they knew she was confused on what she needed and they still did it,the problem with tv was that she keeps pressing the tv button on dish remote instead of the sat button witch made her tv just show static on it , reason i know that is that my son had fixed the problem several times and that is why she called randys is because she felt like she was bothering him too much , but so u know randys tv everthing u did is working well for the $1390 you charged her

Randy is scam artist. Beware this "repair" man will take your TV to fix it and then replace your TV with a refurbished one for lesser value. He targets the elderly.

Charged $80 to tell me my antenna was not safe to climb that I need to upgrade with a smaller antenna that hooks to the roof and the cost would be $900.

This place don't even deserve 1 star they had the coax wiring run 2ft up the side of my New Mobile home in both bed rms the only one run right was the one cable co run and then charged $125 more than what the job was quoted they are the biggest lying crooks I ever met.

I think the person replying to all these reviews like they are, is making the owner look very unprofessional. Calling people liars and other names very unprofessional. I was looking for a repair service but seeing the replies to other people. I will look else were.

sent my TV to be repaired by Randy's TV repaired and I'm still having the same problem and he charge me 380 for my TV to still have the same problem I then call Randy to inform him that the TV is still having the same issues he then says he has to talk to his peoples who delivered the TV and which they didn't repair it he did I would never do business with Randy's TV anymore the worst place to sent your TV
